Bauer Pottery 11" Ringware Dinner Plate Blank Underglaze Decorated by Jalan

This is the second one of these that I am listing. As I have heard, a boxcar of vintage Bauer Pottery unfired blanks was found in the early 1980s near Escondido, California. The lot consisted mainly of flower pot liners, oval vegetable bowls and these 11" dinner plates. They were later glazed mostly black or white, with many hand decorated under the glaze with Mexican style images, by an artist named Jalan. This plate
is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Measuring about 11" across, this
will weigh 3 pounds when securely packed for shipment.
