Early Matte Green Bauer Art Pottery Jardiniere
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this rare, old Bauer pottery filigree jardiniere. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This pot has a matte green glaze over red clay. The exterior has raised, scrolling filigree designs. This piece has a drilled drainage hole beneath. It can be displayed as a vase, but it will not hold water. This piece stands approximately 9 inches tall; the maximum width is about 12 1/2 inches. It weighs 10 pounds 11.0 ounces, unpacked. This uncommon piece would be a fabulous addition to an early California decor, or to a craftsman bungalow.

This unmarked, antique piece is guaranteed to be early Bauer pottery of Los Angeles, California.
Condition
The pot displays well, but it is not in perfect condition. It has evidence of use and wear including scratches and scuffs. It has a crack from the rim downward, which extends about 5 1/2 inches. There are some scattered tiny and small flakes/chips. There is minor chipping adjacent to the drilled drainage hole. As made, there are factory flaws such as thin glaze areas, glaze puckering, and small indents and raised bumps. 1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
