N52/N54/N55 serpentine belt guard
Fits bmw 135i/335i/535i/n5x engine
This plate goes over the front main seal to protect your engine from the serpentine belt getting sucked in
Torque spec for included stainless bolts: 18-20nm
Oem bolt part number in case you would like to use Oem bolts- Genuine BMW Torx Screw M8X40-Al - 11117552644
When oil gets on the serpentine belt the belt tends to slip up and get shredded and sucked in through the front main seal
Easy installation
The plate sits behind the crankshaft pulley
Plate is cnc machined aluminum
Tabs welded on using a fixture to keep
Them at a perfect 90 degree angle
Comes with 2 new stainless steel bolts that should be replaced when this plate is installed
I’ve had lots of success using stainless bolts with no issues. If you are worried about using stainless I recommend buying 2 new Oem bolts and using those
